Hydrated lime is then be produced by adding water to the quicklime. It is converted back to limestone as carbon di oxide reacts with hydrated lime. This process is called the lime cycle. It takes almost less than an hour for it to happen. It is done with the aid of certain industrial processes at atmospheric conditions.
